The game is a wonderful combination of different genres that have their two main genres such as role-playing games and adventure games. Designers hoped to create a new combat system RPG mechanics.1 It is also one of the few Nintendo 64 titles supported in a wide format.
Hybrid Heaven gets some elements of the 3D adventure genre, such as Tomb Raider. Players can move freely in all directions, apart from jumping, shooting, rock climbing and shooting. The player must solve various puzzles with weapons that suppress electronic systems or their own abilities.
However, if you encounter an enemy (the so-called “biological weapon” in “Hybrid Sky”), the game goes into a completely different mode. The player is in a smaller space with less freedom of movement without being able to perform certain movements such as jumping, crawling or climbing. The enemy and the player can navigate through the space to get the best strategic position to attack. If they are close enough and have enough energy, one or the other can decide to attack the enemy. At this time, the time is frozen for the typical round-rolling mode: the attacker selects the attack from the list, while the defender must select the defense and displays the result of the action. After the attack, time returns in real time until the attack is attacked again.
