Its plot usually describes the heroic adventures of the young warriorLink, who must face dangers and solve puzzles to help princess Zeldade feat Ganondorf and save his home, the kingdom of Hyrule.
The chronological continuity of the games’ plot has been the subject of debate over time. Some of his followers and industry experts questioned the timing, not being able to find links between some titles. Finally, in 2011 the official chronology of the series was published in the book Hyrule Historia, where it is explained that The Legend of Zelda has three different timelines.
