It is the seventh game in the Crash Bandicoot saga and the first to be released on a portable console.
Similar to the previous games, only in this installment of the saga it is characterized by being the majority of levels of horizontal movement (moving Crash from left to right), contrary to the first installments, but it still preserves the main elements of the saga. The game consists of 20 levels plus a secret one, in addition to 4 boss levels, all divided into four different zones, in which, by obtaining the five crystals in each zone, the corresponding boss level is activated.
At the end of each level, there is a Crystal, out of a total of 20. In each level of the game, there are different types of boxes, if all the boxes in the level are broken, you are rewarded with a gray gem. Apart from the gray gems, in the game, there are also four gems of Red, green, blue, and yellow colors, (the purple gem from the previous games was removed) that are hidden around the game, and to get them you just have to find and touch them, without any requirement.
Crash has several movements to perform, such as jumping, turning like a whirlwind, hitting the ground on the ground by dropping in the middle of a jump, sliding, crouching, crawling or jumping higher if he is crouching or it is sliding when it jumps. Aside from these moves, Crash can acquire new moves, called “Powers” in the game, which are earned by defeating a zone boss.
