Chameleon Twist is a platform for child finders, launched in 1997 for Nintendo 64. The main character of the game is a chameleon named Davy, who follows a rabbit into a magic hole, which finds in him a strange new land and suddenly takes human form when he enters the world. It was one of the first games released after the console was released. In terms of graphics and sound quality, the potential of the console cannot be crushed. The game has a sequel, Chameleon Twist 2, which was released in 1999.
As a platform, it follows the template of many 3D games of time. This is a linear study in which you have to follow the default path by eating obstacles, jumping between platforms or avoiding or defeating enemies that go in the process using language. The biggest innovative feature of Chamaleon Twist is language physics. Language can be like:
Attack as you can attack enemies that you can use as a ball against enemies or objects on the scene.
Helps jump, since you can use it as a pole to achieve higher scenarios, you can even perform a short swing like a pole to get more money.
Hook or pulley, you can reach remote places by touching certain surfaces, conveniently placed on any level. Touching the wooden rods, we move to a new platform. Also, if you are connected to a stick, you can turn towards it to reach even more extra places.
As for the use of console accessories, Rumble Pak can be used, but the Pak controller cannot be used because it contains its own battery to keep progress.
