I have worked on this series of paintings over many years. They are water-based media (gouache, acryla-gouache, acrylic and watercolor) on paper and typically measure 6 x 6 inches.

They are in part inspired by Persian miniature paintings and medieval manuscript illuminations. They represent people I know or places I've been.
